personal action plan

2014: graduate high school.

2014-2016: community college and a job at a garage.

2016-2018: UC Davis getting a major in mechanical engineering and a minor in physics.

2018: get a job working for JPL (hopefully)

2020-2022: go to space on a commercial flight

2026: get married and have two daughters

2034: living with my family, an alright job, and some good friends

Near future (2014-2018)

This year I am going to graduate high school and next year I’m going to community college for the next two, during that time I intend to have a job at a garage. In 2016 I will be transferring to UC Davis for a masters degree in mechanical engineering, and some classes in physics just because I like it.

Medium future (2018-2022)

When I graduate college I intend to apply for a job at JPL (and hopefully get it). If I don’t get a job a JPL, then I intend to to find some other decent job maybe for the government. By 2022, (if spacex) keeps their word then I will have taken a trip to space, (its a life long fantasy).

Far future (2022-2034)

I intend to have a steady paying job, be married and have two daughters between the ages of 6 and 10. I wont be working my ass off to have lots of money, I will have fun with my life.

So to accomplish that, I will do the things that I mentioned in the personal vision, namely transferring to UC Davis, getting a masters in mechanical engineering and applying JPL.

I believe that an action plan is a plan to do specific things and I think I was pretty clear in my earlier essay.
